Zukunftsbild für Würzburg: Innerfields gestalten Kunstprojekt zum Katholikentag
Würzburg bereitet sich auf ein besonderes Gemeinschaftsprojekt vor: Im Rahmen des kommenden Katholikentags entsteht ein großformatiges Zukunftsbild, das die Visionen und Hoffnungen vieler Menschen aus der Stadt und der Region sichtbar machen soll.
Unter dem Titel „Unser großes Bild der Zukunft“ lädt der Katholikentag Bürgerinnen und Bürger dazu ein, gemeinsam über die Frage nachzudenken: Wie wollen wir in Zukunft miteinander leben? Welche Werte, Ideen und Hoffnungen sollen unsere Gesellschaft prägen?
Den Auftakt bildet ein besonderer Zukunftsworkshop mit der Organisationsentwicklerin und Autorin Ruth Seliger. Gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmenden wird sie einen Raum schaffen, in dem unterschiedliche Perspektiven zusammenkommen und aus vielen einzelnen Gedanken ein gemeinsames Zukunftsbild entsteht.
Im Mittelpunkt des Workshops stehen Fragen nach Zusammenhalt, Mut, Verantwortung und einer lebenswerten Zukunft. Die gesammelten Ideen und Bilder dienen anschließend als Grundlage für ein künstlerisches Projekt im öffentlichen Raum.
Das Berliner Künstlerkollektiv innerfields wird die Ergebnisse des Prozesses in ein großformatiges Wandgemälde übersetzen. Das Mural soll nicht nur ein sichtbares Zeichen für den Katholikentag werden, sondern auch die Vielfalt der Stimmen aus Würzburg widerspiegeln.
„Ein gemeinsames Bild entsteht dort, wo Menschen miteinander ins Gespräch kommen“, so die Idee hinter dem Projekt. Kunst, Dialog und gesellschaftliches Engagement verbinden sich zu einem Zeichen der Hoffnung und des Aufbruchs.
Mit dem Zukunftsbild setzt der Katholikentag einen besonderen Akzent: Nicht nur über die Zukunft sprechen – sondern sie gemeinsam gestalten.
A Vision of the Future for Würzburg: Innerfields Creates Art Project for the Catholic Convention
Würzburg is preparing for a unique collaborative project. As part of the upcoming Catholic Convention, a large-scale artwork will be created to give visual form to the hopes and visions of people from the city and the surrounding region.
Under the title „Our Shared Vision of the Future,“ the Catholic Convention invites residents to reflect on a central question: How do we want to live together in the future? Which values, ideas, and aspirations should shape our society?
The project begins with a special future-focused workshop led by organizational development consultant and author Ruth Seliger. Together with the participants, she will create a space where different perspectives can come together, allowing individual ideas to develop into a shared vision for the future.
The workshop will focus on themes such as community, courage, responsibility, and the creation of a future worth living in. The ideas and images developed during the sessions will then serve as the foundation for a public art project.
The Berlin artist collective innerfields will translate the results of this collaborative process into a large-scale mural. The artwork is intended not only as a visible landmark for the Catholic Convention, but also as a reflection of the diversity of voices from Würzburg.
„A shared vision emerges when people come together in conversation.“ This idea lies at the heart of the project, bringing together art, dialogue, and civic engagement as a symbol of hope and new beginnings.
