Für adidas realisierte innerfields ein großformatiges Fassadenmotiv in Berlin und übertrug die detailreiche Bildwelt auf eine der prominenten Fassaden der Stadt. Die Vielzahl an Strukturen, feinen Übergängen und unterschiedlichen Oberflächen stellte dabei eine besondere malerische Herausforderung dar und wurde zu einem wichtigen Entwicklungsschritt für das Kollektiv. Die präzise Umsetzung schärfte den Umgang mit großformatiger, realistischer Malerei und erweiterte die technischen Möglichkeiten von innerfields.

Nachts erhielt das Mural eine zweite Ebene: Durch Projection Mapping wurden Animationen auf die bemalte Fassade projiziert. So verwandelte sich die statische Malerei in eine bewegte, digitale Bildwelt und verband klassische Wandmalerei mit zeitgenössischer Medientechnik.

For adidas, innerfields created a large-scale facade mural in Berlin, transferring a highly detailed visual composition onto one of the city’s prominent facades. The variety of structures, subtle transitions, and different surfaces presented a particular painterly challenge and marked an important step in the collective’s artistic development. The precise execution refined innerfields‘ approach to large-scale realistic painting and expanded the collective’s technical possibilities.

At night, the mural took on a second dimension. Using projection mapping, animations were projected onto the painted facade. The static painting was transformed into a moving digital visual world, combining traditional mural painting with contemporary media technology.
