Happy End

For the Berlin Festival, innerfields developed an original motif that captures the attitude and energy of a festival with a playful touch. Rather than representing a specific person, the figure embodies the typical festivalgoer: euphoric, carefree, and ready to leave everything else behind for the moment. The festival acts and an „OBEY“ lettering are immortalized as tattoos on his forearms, emphasizing the connection between music, subculture, and urban life.

What makes the work particularly remarkable is its unexpected longevity in the urban landscape. Although the motif was originally created as part of a temporary advertising campaign, it has survived to this day. Whenever the advertising poster covering it is removed for a few days, the mural reappears. In this way, it has unintentionally become a small piece of Berlin’s urban fabric, repeatedly reclaiming its visibility.
