„Present“ entstand für das @artunitedus Projekt in Kyjiw. Das Mural beschäftigt sich mit dem schmalen Raum zwischen Nähe und Verlust. Es erzählt davon, wie die Präsenz eines geliebten Menschen selbst dann bestehen bleiben kann, wenn dieser physisch nicht mehr anwesend ist. Die Arbeit ist eine stille Reflexion über Liebe, Erinnerung und die unsichtbaren Verbindungen, die Distanz und Verlust überdauern.

Jahre später wurde dieses Mural zum Ausgangspunkt für das Gegenstück „Absent“, das in Berlin entstand.

Created for the @artunitedus project in Kyiv, „Present“ reflects on the fragile space between closeness and loss. The mural explores how the presence of a loved one can continue to exist, even in their physical absence. It is a quiet reflection on love, memory, and the invisible connections that remain despite distance or loss.

Years later, this work became the starting point for its counterpart, „Absent“, painted in Berlin.
